About the event

Myasthenia gravis is a rare long-term condition that causes muscle weakness. It most commonly affects the muscles that control the eyes and eyelids, facial expressions, chewing, swallowing, and speaking. But it can affect most parts of the body. It can affect people of any age, typically starting in women under 40 and men over 60.


Aysha Abdulkadir Haruna has completed her Masters degree on Health economics  from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria (West Africa). Aside from being board member of WOCPSCN; she is a student ambassador with Educatly, Dublin, Ireland as well as an assistant editor with Yuvoice, U.S.A. She enjoys attending . webinars alongside other international professors on public health to sharpen her skills and expertise.
